Charing Cross...

Lots to do at the moment and this afternoon I needed to make a flying visit to The Camera Exchange on the Strand. They are such helpful people there, though I still don’t talk their language as much as I’d like or should be able to by now. I am still an enthusiastic photographer not a knowledgeable or skilled one!

Our train home was cancelled before our eyes so we crossed the bridge down to Embankment tube station and then Victoria, our very familiar Monday journey.

I’d loved to have had time to stay in town longer this evening. It was beautiful weather and the crowds were exciting and so happy. Southbank was bursting with life. Everyone making the most of these late summer days!
