Dahlias at Angelsey Abbey....

I've played with this for ages! So much I wanted to share from today! This will have to suffice as I am getting cross.....!

We were booked to see J & A and Esmee today and we did but for a few hours only due to a change in their plans. We had a wonderful day though at this National Trust property near Newmarket and not too far from Sawston. We've been several times before but not during the dahlia festival. Today I tried to focus on the centres of the blooms which I think are so perfect.

My extra is really my favourite......

A lovely time with the family later, and as always, I am grateful for a good journey home.
