Larchin around

Despite the poor forecast it was more sunny than showery in the end. Popped down to Stobo for a swim and had a quiet evening reading while S went up the road for a guitar session with neighbours.

I don’t think I’ve ever noticed how truly beautiful these larch cones are - I always admire the forming larch ‘roses’ and the ‘old’ cones are great for drawing/painting but these are just lovely.
