Butterfly Crack

The buddleias are absolutely hooching with butterflies just now - there were 4 Peacocks just on this one stem (although only 3 in this picture). There were also Tortoiseshells and Painted Ladies, bees of various shapes and sizes and wasps.

Had a busy (but good) day sandwiched either end of a wee trip to Stobo with a friend. Was really brilliant to catch up, although way too short! We’ll need to plan it better next time.

Hard to believe it’s September tomorrow.
