Scenes From the Fourth

Lots of...this year in the parade: Vacation Bible School floats, water companies passing out water, and boats from all the marinas.

Not so much this year: Politicians, little league teams, tractors, old cars, and marching bands. 

Still, there was a lot of candy to be had, and Merrick's little cousin Brynn showed up to help him double-team the candy throwers. It was cute to watch, and they both ended up with a bagful. Plus, several Frisbees and beach balls each.

In our annual debate, we are trying to decide whether to go to the fireworks show tonight at 10 p.m. As of now...we're going.
