Two Button Bucks in a Back Yard

In the weirdest 4th of July EVER, Lisa and I took a near-sundown drive. Why was it weird? No parade, no cookout, no downtown festivities, and no fireworks.

We saw about 15 deer total, including these two young bucks. I would guess by their size that they are yearlings. Their sister was 5 foot ahead of them, but she wouldn't back up for the shot.

I had a flag shot in the cemetery ready to post for the holiday, but the deer won me over.

For the first time in a LONG time, I had to bump up the ISO to 2500 in order to hold the camera still. Grainy.
