PLEASE can I have a pet?

Poor Ella is desperate to have a pet, preferably a cat, but her mum is allergic. Today second cousins Robbie and Callum came to see us on their way to stay with their Grandad in Scotland. And they brought their hamsters. Here the hamsters are being introduced to Ella, Thomas, Nathaniel and James.

I overheard Ella having a long conversation with Robbie about the technique he used to persuade his mum to get him a pet.

Mr C left early this morning to collect Thomas and James from Whitley Bay. We all had a long walk in the woods and over the moor, James dashing ahead all the way.

Once back we had an early birthday cake for Grandad, then the younger ones played happily in the sandpit which Ella practiced her skipping. When James started throwing sand he went on time out which caused a huge melt down. He is very stubborn and needed 3 lots of 5 minutes in his room before he calmed down and was allowed out.

The others have gone but Thomas and James are staying over. I’m hoping they sleep!
