Beauty by many names

Allium ursinum, known as wild garlic, ramsons, buckrams, broad-leaved garlic, wood garlic, bear leek or bear's garlic. 


In the seminal film 'Withnail and I', Uncle Monty proclaims "I think the carrot infinitely more fascinating than the geranium". I feel the same way about wild garlic and bluebells. These are my harbinger of summer, a sensory explosion of joy, beautiful.
