Good Deed

Loupsfell pond sits in the loop that the J38 slip road makes as you leave the Northbound carriageway at Tebay. It must be a very strong contender for most attractive motorway exit. Its an odd little haven for wildlife, and I often see geese, swans, coots and moorhens as I whizz by.
Coming back from a v productive meeting (more of that another day) I found a family of geese and their goslings in the middle of the slip road. Fortunately it's a quiet junction so hazard lights on and shooed then back down to the water.
