Scottish birds on a European bike!

These are two of the girls with whom I batter away at the coalface using nought but toffee hammers on a daily basis. In their own way, they are also blippers because each day they send me a picture doccumenting the crazy adventures that they have when they are on their lunch break. So today they got my bike out of the bike rack executive parking zone and posed in front of the Christmas Tree. Love it!

That is a whole week now that I have been riding the GR8 to and from work. I have to say that as each day passes, I am falling more and more in love with her. It is beautifully engineered and is an absolute dream to ride. I do not think that I have ever ridden such a smooth bike in my life. Okay, it weighs about 30lbs and is not really built for anything other than cruising and carrying cargo but it puts an enormous smile on my face the minute that I set off which lasts through to I get to where I am going. I am not going to win a race anytime soon but I will arrive anywhere that I am going in total comfort.

Everybody should travel in a machine that makes them smile!
