Planticrub Garden Centre

Another windy day, but dry and the sun has been shining all day.  Still light now, well after 9pm.

I've had a day working in the museum.  I had a busy morning, some technical questions from Radio 4, and then setting up for tonight's event.  I also took Melvyn up to the boat store for a look in the afternoon.  I attended tonight's event, staff and tour guide training on Scatness Broch.  I'll hopefully do a few days working there over the summer.  No time for myself today, straight to work in the pub tonight.

The only time to myself today, was spent at the garden centre.  The Planticrub Garden Centre, is probably the biggest in Shetland, and mostly well known for good quality plants and service.  I've been chatting with Janet, and needing some new Hawthorn trees for my garden, as mine is so old.  I can't live in Hawthorn Cottage and not have one.  I also left with a few new early flowering alpines.  This is were I often visit on a fine summer's day.  Taken at Tingwall.
