Newborn Twins

A breezy day, and the wind has been cold.  Dry most of the day, but overcast and a damp misty air.

A day working on the museum desk.  With the school bairns holidays over, it has been fairly quiet in the museum.  My usual Monday, home grab my tea and rush down for my shift in the pub.  A quiet evening at work, and finished early.  Walkies with Sammy, before I get my feet up for the night.

I saw my first lambs of the year yesterday, and that was from a distance, but today I started to see a good few around the place.  Probably the busiest time of year for crofters, lambing season.  It will be great to hear their cheery sounds in the hills again.  I came across this mother at lunchtime, and by the looks of it, she had just given birth to this twins.  It's not long until they are up in their feet and feeding.  Taken at Bremmer, Cunningsburgh.
