Today's the day ……………………. to be subdued

I went looking for a bit of colour - but I didn't really find anything apart from the rust-coloured reedbeds.

Such a cold, perfectly still day with no colour in the sky or river - and very little wildlife about.  There were drifts of snowdrops under the trees which is always lovely to see - but very little in the way of colour.

I know it's the middle of winter - but that's not helping …………………...
