Snowdrops

Today's the day ………………………. to carpet

Couldn't believe how quickly the snowdrops have appeared in the nearby woods.  There really is a white carpet of them in full bloom - and we're not even out of January yet.  It must be all this mild weather we've been having recently.

Can't help wondering if they might end up being covered in a different sort of white carpet before winter has finished with us …………………………?



PS  One of the joys of blipfoto is being able to look back over the years and see what was happening on a particular day.  Nine years ago today, I posted a link to son Rob's fantastic video clip that he made from his round the world travels.  It's still there - and it makes me laugh just as much today as it did then!
