Lyde (Day 1354)

I sloshed a bit of paint around after the morning woofer wander before heading out to Stromness to change a set of kitchen taps. An emergency call out to another tap that wouldn't turn off took up the rest of the morning. 
The dogs were keen to get out when I returned from my jobs, and we headed off to Lyde for a wander in the sunshine. The edge of the road was crispy with the remains of hail showers and the dogs enjoyed thrashing around in it.
Back at home, and after a very late lunch, I finished sorting out the TV aerial for our sitting room, and once my beautiful wife came home from work, we moved ourselves into the sitting room. There are a few little things still to do, but it is great to finally be using a room that has been a bit of a disaster area since we moved into the house five years ago.
