Aikerness (Day 1718)

A bit of a later start this morning, and respite at last from the wind. Despite the ambient temperature being lower than it has been for a few mornings, it felt so much warmer without the wind.
After breakfast,  my beautiful wife headed for the yard to deal with the horses. I did a bit of mucking out while HV sorted out hoss food before we got a delivery of hay. Once the horses were turned out into their field, we zoomed home for lunch, then out to Aikerness for a wander on the beach. The wind was beginning to rise again as we headed back to the car, but it has been so nice to be able to hear each other speaking while we have been out today.
