Edge of the weather (Day 986)
There was more snow overnight, making for a fairly interesting drive out to the car park at the bottom of the hill for the morning dog walk. Once out of the car, the dogs went completely daft, tearing around in the fresh snow and thoroughly enjoying themselves.
At home I did a couple of little jobs before it was time to drop my beautiful wife at the hairdresser and trundle along to Wasdale for a walk. As we left the car, the dogs and I were caught in a snow/sleet/hail shower which was a bit unpleasant, but patches of brightness on the horizon hinted that the weather might improve. Talisker was a bit bemused by the slushy ice covering the loch, but he managed to break his way through it so he could cool off by lying in the water.
On the way back to the car, the clouds started to part and there was a hint of blue sky. The sun bouncing off a snow clad Hoy looked great, though snow flakes left spots on the camera lens.
