The Braco road

Today as our chance to visit our friends in Comrie and collect our Christmas tree. For nigh on 20 years we’ve been making to trip, have lunch, exchange presents and head home.

The exercise in tying upthe tree is now a smooth operation. It is probably over-secured but to keep it protected from the road spray and to make sure it behaves itself at 70mph I take no chances - see extra.

We left Edinburgh in clear crisp sunshine but as we headed over the hill from Braco the clouds came in.

Got everything sorted before the rain came. Back down the road; checked on the aunt; had dinner then started cleaning windows - and access to windows - until late ahead of a new alarm system being fitted.
