Lifeboat?

I was at the Scottish Government this morning for a CHIP meetings Children’s Hearings Improvement Partnership.

Lots of updates including on Better Hearings. But also a presentation on the review of care progress; and on 9 years of experience of the Guernsey adaptation of the Children’s Hearings system. Plus a presentation on the emerging cohort of young people who will form the young people’s board on the hearings system - Our Hearings! our Voice.

Back to the office with a minute to spare to have a 1:1 with another of our volunteer leaders. Then finalising things before tomorrow’s trip to Kirkwall.

Back home to clean the final windows for the alarm fitting. And pack.
