Variations on a Theme

This unusual clematis flowers very late in the season.  It's at it's best now, myriad, soft yellow blooms with petals which reflex.  It came into my hands as 'Clematis sp Tajikistan' but I can find no information about it, even with Mr Google's help!   One image I found last year suggested it might be a form of Clematis orientalis .... but certainly not typical for the species.  I've  a couple of expert friends who might shed some light on it.  

A day that started wet turned to bright sunshine (and showers) this afternoon, allowing me to spend some time in the summer house writing labels for seed of bulbous plants that I will soon be sowing.  Too wet for outdoor jobs though.
