Brief Inspiration

After a week of limited use, Jamie's arm seemed much better today, just in time for basketball.  He played for about an hour less than last week and significantly the practice drills this week did not aggravate his back or strain his tendon like last week.   Before an afternoon trip to the city I grabbed a few minutes in the garden but the light simply did not match the early light yesterday.  A bunch of OK pics but just as I was heading indoors a brief shaft of strong sunlight caught this Crocus nudiflorus, growing in the mostly shady bed near the back door.  Result :-)
