Looking Back

At summer.

Almost the last flower on Una's Hollyhocks.   It caught my eye as I wandered round a garden which has seen so many family celebrations over the years.  We celebrated my 40th here with an amazing pair of cakes that Una made - see extra pic snapped from a picture that's been on her fridge for eighteen years.   Yes that pot of crocuses is all sugar icing!   Good memories.  

We visited Una this afternoon and shared cake that Jamie had made plus a lot of laughs, often down to my occasionally demented efforts with her fly swatter :-)
