Still gathering nuts: a crop of fresh walnuts

From under my father's 10 year old tree.

I shall let these dry off a little in the house before cracking them open. In fact, if you don't leave them to dry out too long you can just squeeze the shells to release the nuts - no tools or flying shrapnel involved. And they taste fantastic.
