This poor old tree is dotted with lumps of 'exudations' sealing up attacks by insects and borers.
Kino is a name of West African origin  for plant gum produced by various plants in particular eucalyptus and 'Manna' an Aboriginal name for sap exuded by many eucalyptus trees attacked by insect borers.

Isn't nature wonderful!!
