One Crowded Hour

singapore...

...mid morning and this is where S and I will be for the next six days!
Woooo hooo!

The last time I was actually in Singapore and not just passing through the amazing Changi Airport was several decades ago.
S travels here several times a year and has explored the streets and has her finger on the foodie pulse!

Lunch at our lovely hotel with a wonderful selection of dishes including several from Peranakan or Nyonya cuisine 'from the descendants of early Chinese migrants who settled in Penang, Malacca, Singapore and Indonesia inter-marrying with local Malays and combines Chinese, Malay and other influences.'
Kuih Pi Tee (Top Hats) (extra) are teeny pastry ties that come with dyo fillings of savoury yam bean(turnip) topped with dried shrimps, spring onions diced egg, sliced omelette, coriander and peanuts...oh and chilli sauce.
