After an early morning walk with Finlay and a large bacon sandwich for breakfast, I left home at 9 to go to Harrogate to open up the stand, ready for the show opening at 10.

Mrs madwill made it just before 10, having travelled back from Darlington and been dropped at home to collect her car.

A day of two halves - quite busy in the morning and quiet in the afternoon.

Mrs madwill’s mother had surgery to repair her broken wrist today and was recovering well. Guess where we will be going tomorrow….

Show finished at 4 this afternoon and we were packed up and away by 5:45. Drove to the studio and ‘tipped’ everything out of the cars for sorting later. Home by 7.

Chinese takeaway for tea and some local beer - brewed almost on the doorstep. Will be well ready for bed tonight.
