Giant Spider
Another splendid day at the Quilts Festival - trade was a little slower at the start of the day but we were soon very busy again and finally got a break around 2 p.m!
It is quite scary seeing little old ladies (and also some not so little or so old) pull rolls of £20 notes out of their handbags to spend at the show. There must be some very full mattresses around the country.
It was hard work, but great fun as this was our first 'show'. Expenses more than covered so that is good!
After our printer woes last night, we ordered a new set of inks and had them delivered to an Amazon Locker in Wetherby - and collected them on the way home from the show.
Whilst I was waiting for Mrs madwill to collect them I caught sight of this giant spider that had landed on a street lamp in the car park.
We also had to call in at the studio to collect more fabric to replenish the stocks at the show.
More brochures have been printed and folded - hope we have enough for tomorrow....
Tea was from the freezer - a fish pie that I had made a couple of weeks ago and some frozen peas to go with it...easy!
