Canada, eh?

We took Penny for a walk this morning and crossed the Kinsol Trestle bridge which was quite cool. The kids took turns walking the dog, but it was little Dex who impressed us all when he happily volunteered to pick up the dog poo! He's never done it before but it didn't phase him at all as he wanted to do it!

After lunch we headed to Shawnigan Lake to test out Maggie's birthday present - a kayak! It was fab and after a few wobbles they got used to it and took it in turns to kayak on the lake. Dex absolutely loved it and got more and more daring as he went further out into the lake. There was also an adult kayak that we were able to use for free which hubby and I loved. We're definitely going to go kayaking when we get back to Belgium.
