Camping and kayaking at Lake Cowichan

We set off this morning for Lake Cowichan where the kids and Dad's are going to camp at Gordon Bay. Unfortunately the weather turned today so it's been a lot cooler and drizzly, but it didn't put us off.
The kids played at the beach, kayaked and played on the giant inflatable water bed thing for ages despite the on/off showers and the freezing lake temperatures. Once again, the kayaking was a huge hit.
Later the three kids roamed the campsite together, got grubby and returned for food. After dinner the Mum and Mom returned home to watch a chick flick and sleep in a nice warm comfortable bed. My kind of camping. Everyone was happy with the arrangement!
