Legoland, Germany

We told the kids that we had a huge surprise for them, but neither of them suspected a thing until we got closer to the park and they spied some signs! They were absolutely over the moon. We got there just as the park opened and managed to fill the entire day at a lovely pace without any stress as the queues weren't bad as the park didn't seem that busy. The weather was amazing - perhaps a bit too hot, but as we all got soaked on the log flume ride, it really didn't matter. The lego displays, mainly the Star Wars ones were great, especially as our kids have just been introduced to the Star Wars movies. We watched a very funny Chinese circus/comedy show, ate ice creams, and went on just about every ride going.

At the end of the day the kids spent their holiday money on lego and some Star Wars key rings.

A brilliant end to a brilliant holiday.
