Too Hot

Far too hot today. At least to be at school anyways. We've had a busy and stressful week- we even had an observation first things this morning... The kids (and us) checked out after half-term. The weather hasn't helped, as the days feel interminably long, and we, and they, are so tired. 

And there's still two whole weeks to go...! After work I came home and got ready to go out. It was my friend J's 39th birthday, and we were meeting at a pub in Bermondsey for drinks and pizza.

It was a really nice evening, and cooler by the time I arrived. Some of her friends I had met before were there, and we all had a good time. I had a couple of drinks, as it should be on a warm summer's evening in July ;-) 

I was tired on the way home though, so tired I almost didn't care if I got off the train.... but rest assured I got off at the right stop ;-)
