Out and About

It was a relief to have a lie-in this morning!

I popped to the garage to order the Mini- I will pick it up next weekend..... Excited? Not exactly, I always feel worried when it comes to commitments of the financial kind....

I hadn't planned to go out as I was out last night, but my friend A suggested another event, so I was persuaded. She then bailed as she wasn't well, and I was already on the train so kind of had to go.

It was in Clapham, which isn't a place I ever go to anymore. And also because it feels a bit too hard to go there. So when I reached the station I almost changed my mind, and I sort of deliberated about just going home. I decided to go and see if I could do it.

And I did. The extra is the pub just opposite the venue I went to. I remember going there once with T. 

The evening was ok, and I caught up with Alec, a friend of mine. I stayed until 11pm, and then headed home.

It was quite a nice evening and I didn't really mind that A didn't go, although she apologised profusely ;-)
