Not the photo I had intended

I have had real problems getting a photo to load in this date as all my photos of June 30th go to a different date - usually the date of the day I am loading the photo rather than the date on which it was shot. May be an iPhone issue. Anyway.

There was a lovely red car to go here, sitting in front of the Pitti Palace.

Here is the original text that went with it

A lovely day walking around in Florence in the cool air. A delightful meal at the Quattro Leoni on the other side of the river - crostini, lasagne, spaghetti alle vongole sarda and the best ravioli ever with spinach and ricotta and a sage butter. A restaurant I would not hesitate to recommend.

When I tried to keep my knife and fork from the first course the waiter gave me a sympathetic, 'Non, non cambiamo tutto'. (It's OK we'll change everything) adding, 'Sono un cliente anche se sono cameriere.' (I'm a client as well as a waiter here).

A long walk back to the car as the rain began to fall (extra).

These vintage cars were being desported on the sloping ground outside the massively imposing Pitti Palace.
