a turn in the weather

I awoke to another cold morning and was frozen solid after an hour on the bike. What happened to summer?? As I headed back to Colorado I thought the further south I got the warmer it would get, but instead I began to see fall colors! So I made a few extra stops for coffee to thaw out. And to make matters worse, the sky grew dark and I was caught in a bone numbing downpour for the last 30 miles. But now I am tucked away in a warm motel room in Wyoming and see the forecast for Utah tomorrow is more summer like - warm with afternoon thundershowers...
