In the yellow corner

What a wild, wet and windy day. I read about the Copeland fiasco then to get over it, had a good session in the gym. I was told by someone who was there when the 10 people were rescued off Windy Gyle a couple weeks ago that one of the people with hypothermia was wearing jeans and trainers. Not only had they not heeded the bad weather warning, but also they'd gone poorly equipped.

I've decided to make a Blurb book of our various trips to Egypt- the Nile was our silver wedding trip 25 years ago, Mt Sinai was 1995 and then we took the daughters for Christmas to the Old Cateract Hotel in Aswan in 96. The White Desert was 2010 so is the only one when I used a digital camera.

An indoor blip today - A patch of oil seed rape in the landscape by Lynn McGregor, a cheery bunch of daffodils, and at the bottom left, one of #3 daughter's wedding photos amongst the sunflowers of Tuscany.
