Treasure map

Mr C and I had a walk through the woods up to the moor gate, and down BlaeberrynHill, so that I could plan a treasure trail for Ella tomorrow.

Then we drove to town in the afternoon to pick her up. Nathaniel was upset he wasn't coming, but his nursery is open. It'll be calmer to have her on her own - I think! However she'll not remember the 20 months she came on her own before he was born, so it will be strange for her.

I had cut a bit of cardboard tube to keep the map in. We did the map together- she decided where the bear cave, tiger jungle and wolf lair were to be, and drew them on. Let's hope for a fine day as the walk / treasure hunt will take a while. and I hope she won't be awake too early - already she's saying she wishes it was morning!
