Tiny

Crocus danfordiae.  There is a Crocus minimus which you might think would be the smallest crocus .... but the person who named it had only seen a few species out of the hundred plus.   This one is just over 1cm across, truly tiny.  I have added an extra with something to give scale.

Jamie was bundled out of hospital yesterday.  No argument with him being at home but the inadequate understanding of his need for pain relief led to a difficult stand-off when the transport guys could not get him into the house.  The final lift was a bit brutal and he is very sore today.  Bedbound too ...hopefully only short-term.
