A Storm Brewing?

After all the outdoor activities with our visitors yesterday, today was a much more relaxed affair. I think the fresh sea air and exercise had got to them as they all had a long lie in bed and late breakfast.

Late morning we paddled them across the river in a wee tender so they could enjoy the beach. Once we had the boat tied up again on our side of the river, MrsB and me walked the long way to the beach and met up with them. Sat for a while enjoying the heat and admiring a most dramatic looking sky. The clouds over the bay formed a large vortex shape and it was easy to imagine they had some sinister intent. However, the cloud was actually moving away from us to the South while the real threat came from the darkening clouds behind. We set off for the Network Centre and an afternoon cup of tea. The dark cloud followed and dropped some rain on us, although it never came to much.

Tonight the adults are heading out to Dunvalanree, our favourite restaurant in the area, for a nice dinner, while the boys enjoy some time to themselves and a big pizza at home!
