Performing Sparrows
Since we first bought a house in Carradale I have enjoyed watching the sparrows feeding on the pampas grass seeds each August. Initially we would watch them on our neighbours pampas plant where they would land on the seed heads and bounce up and down as they fed. It was always comical to watch and we decided when we build our new house to plant a few of these lovely large grasses.
This is the first year they have produced lots of seed heads and it has been wonderful to see the sparrows enjoying this treat while they engage in their aerial acrobatics!
I would love to capture one of them at the point of landing with a sense of movement. Meanwhile, this is the nearest I have got to it. Looks like another blipping challenge!
