Waterfoot Sunrise

Good Morning Waterfoot

One of the great joys of retirement is being able to lie in bed in the morning and not worry about having to get up. Strange thing is I still wake up reasonably early and can only lie on so long. When I woke up this morning it was quite bright for a change. Not quite sun streaming in the window, as it was a few weeks ago, but not the grey of recent mornings either. I opened the bedroom window to catch the sea air which was from the south east, and was greeted by this wonderful view of Waterfoot, Carradale Bay and the Kilbrannan Sound towards Ailsa Craig.
When we originally designed the house it was all on the one level, but after speaking to the archtect we decided to squeeze in an attic bedroom which would give us the extra height for this wonderful view. Definitely one of our better decisions in life!
Spent the day building a wooden housing to conceal the 2 large and quite ugly gas cylinders at the side of the house. Not really blip material unless you are into left over pieces of sarking, from which it was made.
