Homeward Bound
The weather was most surprising today. Woke up to heavy rain and leaden skies, which tempted me to crawl back under the covers again! However, by 11 o'clock the skies began to clear and the sun came out. Just as well as we have 2 teenage boys to entertain while they stay with us.
Started with a round of golf, which we all thoroughly enjoyed, even although I was well and truly trounced by the 17 year old! Back home, we decided to head out in the boat for some fishing. This time it was the younger brother who stole the show catching a good sized Pollock and lots of decent Mackerel. His brother caught a few as well, but not nearly as many.
We finished off their activity day with some coasteering at South Dippen Bay followed by turbobodying (getting towed behind the boat at the end of a rope. The 2 boys thoroughly enjoyed all the activities, although they were quite keen to get back to the house and out of their wetsuits!
This was the view from the back of the boat at we made speed (5 knots!) back to Waterfoot. That's one of the things I am really enjoying about this stage of life....watching others enjoy themselves!
