Rainy day!

A quiet day today. Roger, Laura and I went for a short walk round the neighbourhood in the morning before Laura went with her Grandad to pick Edna up from the care home for the day, giving her the opportunity to see where her grandma is living now. We were about to go for another walk after lunch, but at that point the wind picked up and the rain came pelting down - we were glad we hadn't left earlier and been caught out in it! So much of the afternoon was spent in Janet and John's living room relaxing and chatting and looking out through the raindrop covered window. Later on, as dusk was approaching, it seemed to have cleared a little, so we did get out for some more exercise to work off some of the calories!
