Egyptian Vulture(Neophron percnopterus)

A fabulous sight as Egyptian Vultures are a globally endangered species. To cap it all I saw seven in total which is really fantastic, especially as these birds do an incredible job of cleaning up and keeping the spread of life threatening diseases from spreading. They are the bird worlds unsung heroes! This bird seems to be a teenager( they live for up to 37 years) as he hasn't got a bright yellow face yet and younger birds have this ones darker plumage. Egyptian Vultures or 'Pharaoh's Chicken' are the smallest of all Vultures, although they still have a wingspan of over five feet!
