Surprise Butterfly

We decided to have a bit of a wander in Switzerland today and so we took a couple of ferries to get to Romanshorn.

It's meant to be very pretty but we couldn't find any evidence of it apart from a Jugendstil church from 1911.

From there we wandered along the side of the Bodensee just enjoying each others company and just looking at "things". 

Until today I had never seen a robot lawn mower in action and then we went through a village (Kesswil - birthplace of Carl Jung) where every house seemed to have their robot lawn mower out and mowing.  Apart from the house where the lawn mower seemed to have stuck behind a tree.  It felt a bit like a Swiss Stepford truth be told.

After walking through a few villages & wondering how much some of these houses cost, we decided to jump a train to get back to a bit of normality.

If I "Geld wie Heu hätte" or "had money like hay" (German expression meaning something like having money to burn), I could imagine living in Switzerland. But.  I would get hugely annoyed that I couldn't buy just any house, I'd only be allowed to buy certain houses (unless I had LOADS of money and influential friends).

The extra is just one of those translation things that made me laugh.  It isn't WRONG wrong but I would probably have said "dismount" rather than "GET OFF".  Both open to double entendres but it made me laugh.
