Figs for brunch
Felt like a snack today (an excuse to interupt writing up my case report). I'd bought a couple of fresh figs yesterday, and was dithering about using them in a sweet or salad dish. In the end, I did something in between.
Diced figs with cucumber and mint. The buckwheat was in lime juice and grated ginger. The cashew cream had a touch of garlic and lime zest.
Sat by the brook for 20 mins scoffing it and soaking up the sunshine.
