Market Square, Durham

Enjoyed a visit to beautiful Durham today and took lots of the usual shots of the Cathedral. Sadly, none of them were very good because of the scaffolding and plastic sheeting adorning it. The interior, of course, was stunning, but no photography is allowed.

It will look wonderful when the work is finished, so we'll have to return some day to admire it, but my blip instead was the Market Square in the sunshine.

The roads were full of bits of tree branches, brought down by the high winds last night, but all roofs seemed intact:-). Hope yours is too!
