Moulting?

I brought home three fronds of a tufty grass that was growing at the entrance to a property out of town.  However, by the time I started to set it up these tiny seeds began to abandon the mother ship!  I decided to try to capture one, but have not been entirely successful because (a) the strands seem to be strobing and (b) I do not have LR or PS to "faff" (this is a Blip expression I had not met before) with it. However, I have still posted it because it excited me to see this almost meteorite like tiny piece of fluff against the black background. So you just have to imagine what could have been achieved in more competent hands. The extra will show you why I gave this pic its title.
