Beckett's World

At last I am home and have managed to sort through the hundreds of pics I took when, along with about the best travelling companion you could have, Dollykgray, we headed for the Blue Mountains Blipmeet. However, there was no question that we had to stop off at Richmond to visit Beckett and the lovely Wendy.  Before visiting their beautiful new home and being fed a sumptuous lunch, Beckett took us to his beloved Hawkesbury River at Wilberforce.  This is what greeted us - a vista to take your breath away, resplendent with fluffy white clouds, sprawling pasture and the river, with the backdrop of those mountains. Later, at the mighty Napean, we spent hours trying to learn about birds in flight from Tom, but I am still on a steep learning curve.
I have put some birds in extras (including a very poor shot of a Kingfisher, which was just a little too far away), just to assureTom I did try! I am going to label all my back Blips WWmeet so anyone interested can catch up on my belated recordings of this most amazing adventure.
Sincere thanks to Tom and Wendy for their generosity and warmth.
