There's....

..... a crazy person on my bed, with legs for days. 

Nice day today, as a final hurrah before back to school and starting my new job. We ran to town as I needed some new not winter boots, not trainers but still comfortable flat shoes. She's practised piano. We tidied up a bit. Then at lunch time our friend Linda and her boys arrived. We walked into town and went to see Zootopia. I haven't tried our new town cinema yet and it was rather lovely, although pricey. Katie liked that the main characters were bunnies but she wasn't sure about some of it - it does make me cross how much they emphasise the jumpy/bad/peril sides to films aimed at children. I did find it very funny though! After the film we walked home and the children had a play for a while. We then packed them into the car and headed to the garden centre as we both had vouchers for BOGOF cream teas, and last year they were very worth it. They didn't drop their standard this year! Really good food and exceptional value with the voucher. 

Katie flagged very quickly on arriving home, after a really late night last night (now backblipped) and was in bed with her new CD of "Peter and the Wolf" by 5.30pm. She was asleep by 6, though she's already relocated to my bed! 

Back to earth with a bump tomorrow - piano lesson is at 8am, she goes back to school and I start my new job....
