rainbow

An afternoon in Penrith. My husband had a meeting so I went for the ride. I shopped, wandered around the castle and, as there was time to spare, had coffee and cake. 

We came back via Ullswater and I was on the lookout for a layby with views and daffodils. By the time I'd spotted one and shouted it was too late to stop. On to the Glencoyne Bay car park where I got some photos minus daffodils (see extra). 

Driving into Patterdale I spotted a rainbow and called again. The reply was "I can't stop". So I grabbed the camera, wound the window down and got 3 shots before we turned the corner. 

A few very busy weeks ahead and blips will more likely be posted in blocks rather than daily. Apologies in advance for lack of comments.
